For your safety and ours, we’ve always practiced the strictest precautions in our office. Our closure helped divert critical Personal Protective Equipment to hospitals and clinics.  But we also used the time to implement enhanced practices.  You’ll notice a few differences, but the care you receive won’t be one of them.  Here are a few things
you’ll see:

Better cleaner air: The air will be filtered and cleaned with Surgically Clean Air units every 18 minutes.  This will disinfect the air from 99.9% of any and all particulate in the air with six stages of filtration.  These are the top units in the world.

PureVac suction: We’ve upgraded our suction system for better visibility and safe working areas from one of the most trusted names in dentistry, Dentsply. 

Sterilization Fogging: We will be using on regular intervals, a fogging machine to clean 100% of every particle on every hard surface that is already wiped with cleaning solution.

No touch communications: We will use no-touch mobile communications such as text, email and phone.  Along with easy-fillable forms on phone and computer.

Hanging out in the car:  We will ask you or accompanying family members to wait in your car until your appointment time. We’ll let you know!

Temperature and Oxygen checks: We’ll take your temperature and check oxygen saturation levels when you arrive to help screen for sickness.

A simple rinse: We will ask you to swish with a mouth rinse before treatment that has shown to help keep you healthier

New gear: You might notice we’re wearing different protective equipment, including face shields for some procedures, and custom 3D printed resin masks.

THERE ARE ALSO A FEW THINGS BEHIND THE SCENES THAT MIGHT NOT STAND OUT. JUST A FEW INCLUDE:

Hand sanitizer helps: It’s a habit for many people now, but we’ll ask you to use sanitizer when you arrive.

Illness means rescheduling: If you suspect an illness of any kind, we’ll help you reschedule when you recover.

Added cleaning: We’re disinfecting the reception area and other public spaces throughout the day with fogging and air scrubbers with 6 stages of filtration.  The highest of any air cleaner in the world.

Strict sterilization: Of course, we’re continuing detailed biological monitoring of all sterilization and disinfection procedures.  Nothing changes, because we have always been going above and beyond.

Zero Fees for PPE: There will be no fees for PPE, even though we have everything that we need to keep our team and you safe.  You will hear from friends that most dentists are charging about $25-35. We will be charging NO PPE FEE.  It is part of our vision to put our team and our patients first.  Therefore, we believe that all the new changes are part of what we are offering... the best evolving care possible.

More training: Although we always update Universal Precaution practices to prevent the spread of flu, colds, and other infections, we’re reviewing even more.
